In Memorium: Our beloved Sanka Cat

Doug and I had a very sad and unexpected thing happen this morning. We lost a very sweet pet and dear friend, Sanka. We are not sure what caused his death, but were very shocked and extremely upset this morning to find him no longer with us on the floor in our room. We rushed him to the emergency vet, however he had already passed on and there was nothing they could do to revive him. We initially thought he may have gotten into something that poisoned him, but the vet said he could have had an undiagnosed/unknown heart weakness or condition and his little heart just gave out on him. Whatever the cause, we will miss him terribly, and are thankful for the 2.5 years we were able to spend with him. He was a great love- always there to meet us at the door when we got home from work, and the first to nudge us awake in the morning for breakfast. He was never a stranger to new faces, a constant companion and a never-failing friend. He loved his brother Mr. Jackson- they were best friends and played and slept together constantly. He always knew how to cheer us up when we were sad, and get a smile on our face after a long day. We will always love and be grateful for him and look forward to seeing him again in our eternal family.
